My  Passion for Needle Felting

Hi, I’m Audra, the hands, heart, and wool-fluff-covered creator behind Sheep to Shore.

For many years, I lived in the wonderful town of Mount Barker, WA, where sheep were my neighbours, and the Stirling Ranges, my view. After a bad work accident, creativity became my escape, and I became passionate again about needle felting. Recently, I’ve swapped paddocks for sea breezes, and now call the beautiful coastal town of Mandurah home, hence the name "Sheep to Shore"!
It’s a perfect mix of country charm and seaside calm… just like my workshops.

I’ve been felting for nearly 20 years (yes, there’s been a lot of wool in my life!), and my first workshop over four years ago lit a spark in me. Sharing this craft with others, watching people relax, laugh, and surprise themselves with what they can create, became something I couldn’t keep to myself.

So, here I am, creating woolly wonders (especially sheep, my absolute favourite), running workshops, and hopefully bringing a little joy, calm, and connection into people’s lives. Whether you’re looking to try something new, reconnect with your creativity, or just spend a peaceful afternoon stabbing wool with like-minded souls—there’s a spot for you at my table.
