Join us for a fabulous short workshop creating a merino wool wrapped soap. Learn how to create a pice of felt, how to decorate it and then wrap the soap. Suitable for beginners/intermediate but some wool crafting experience an advantage. Discount for Murray Arts and Craft Society Members.

About the event
Create a beautiful lightly exfoliating, soft Merino wool covered soap. Learn how to make a piece of felt, "paint" it and secure on the soap.
These relaxed afternoon sessions are designed for those with a little needle felting experience or a general understanding of wool and fibre arts. Whether you’ve joined a morning class or felted before, these sessions are project-focused, giving basic instruction and assistance, whilst providing you with space to explore and create, something woolly and wonderful.
Bring your own materials or purchase a kit on the day. Full kit cost $20 (includes felting mat, cotton cover for mat, felting needles x 2, leather finger protectors, soap, enough wool fibre to make the project, snips and more). Project Kit costs $6.
Individual supplies are also for sale at reasonable prices.
