There have been lots of woolly things happening lately at Sheep to Shore!
Woolly Wednesday Coffee Mornings:

If you have ever attended one of my workshops, I would love to invite you to my new Woolly Wednesday Coffee Mornings.
On the first Wednesday of each month, you can bring along your own project, enjoy a cuppa and a cookie, meet other needle felters, and spend a relaxed morning creating together. I will also be available for advice, tools, fibres, and encouragement if you get stuck.
When: First Wednesday of each month
Time: 10am – 12 noon
Starting: July 1st 2026
Cost: $20 including tea, coffee and cookies
Spaces: Only 6 spots available
Bookings are via my website.
I am really looking forward to catching up with past workshop participants and building a lovely little woolly community together.
New “Reminder” Videos on My Website:
A very lovely workshop participant recently asked if I had any videos to help remind her how to make the sheep we created during the workshop.
So… I now have four videos uploaded to my website!
I am calling them “reminder videos” because they are not full tutorials. They are simply there to help if you are sitting at home thinking, “Now what do I do next again?”

Please remember that websites and videos are definitely not my strong point! But I hope you find them helpful anyway. I even had difficulty getting a screen shot from one of the videos, I guess these will do!

If there is a particular reminder video you would like me to make, please let me know.
Mandurah Open Studios:
Mandurah Open Studios was a massive success and I absolutely loved meeting everyone who visited. It was especially lovely to see friends, family and workshop participants who popped down to support me. Thank you.

It was lovely hearing all the “ooos” and “ahhhs” over my sheep and seeing so much interest in workshops and in the wonderful craft of needle felting. At this rate, we are going to have a small band of needle felters in the area soon!
A huge thank you to the City of Mandurah, and also to artist printer Jo Wood, who persuaded me to participate in the first place.
It is always hard stepping outside your comfort zone. I said yes, panicked, and then did it anyway!
And a very big hello to anyone new here, anyone who has joined my mailing list during Mandurah Open Studios. And, a big hello to those of you who found me via my Website, Facebook or Instagram. AND, a very big hello to those of you who have been here a while now!
Workshops Continue:
Workshops have continued to happen behind the scenes — although I keep forgetting to take photos and videos during them!

I have also been organising some private workshops for groups of friends. So, if you visit my workshop page and see “PRIVATE” listed on a workshop, that one is already booked for a private group. Sorry.....
If you cannot see a workshop that suits you, just get in touch and I will see what I can organise, whether it is with friends, or I put out feelers to others.
Nannup Flower and Garden Festival:
I am very happy to share that I will be returning to the Nannup Flower and Garden Festival again this year to run two workshops.
If you are visiting the festival on the second weekend, 15th/16th August 2026 come and say hello — or even better, book into a workshop! Details in the next Newsletter/Blog!
This year I will be teaching:
A tulip brooch workshop
A brand new Monarch butterfly workshop — a new little woolly wonder!
Anyway, I think that is enough for now! Keep in touch!
Wishing you all some wonderful woolly times!
