From Wedding Bouquets to Bali Beaches – I'm Back! Not a typical Sheep to Shore month!
I've been a little quiet on the Sheep to Shore front lately, but for very good reasons!
The past few weeks have involved our son Dale, marrying the beautiful Britney, followed by 24 glorious days in beautiful Bali, with plenty of joy, happy tears, exploring, learning, snorkelling and some much-needed rest.
Of course, I couldn't leave creativity entirely behind! I made the bouquets (with a little help from a friend) for the wedding (pretty happy with how they turned out!, painted footballs (the wedding was on Grand Final day!), and in Bali there was time for a little painting (mostly sheep!!!) and jewellery making too. Yup, even on holiday I can't resist making things!
Here are some of my little sheep paintings...What do you think? Feedback from some lovely people who responded to one of my Instagram posts helped with a few of the designs…. Not sure if they are a little bit too much!😆??? What do you think, and what are your suggestions for more!
Now I'm home, refreshed, full of ideas and ready to get back to all things woolly. And with Christmas creeping up rather quickly, there's plenty happening at Sheep to Shore!
First, a couple of reminders!
🧶 One Spot Left – Woolly Coasters!
There is just ONE spot left in tomorrow's Woolly Coaster Workshop. If you've been thinking about joining me for a morning of wool, creativity and a little bit of fun, now's your chance! Come and make something lovely and useful, two lovely coasters for your coffee (or they can even be mini pictures) and perhaps they could be a Christmas present for someone special? I demonstrate two different designs, then guide you to either make them, or a design of your own.
Note that there is another coaster workshop on Saturday the 14th November – there is only one spot left for this too!
☕ Woolly Wednesday Coffee Morning
A little reminder that our next Woolly Wednesday Coffee Morning is on this Wednesday, 10am–12pm.
These mornings are for anyone who has attended one of my workshops. Just $10, which includes tea, coffee and biscuits (because creativity is always better with a cup of tea!).
Bring along a project, a friend is also welcome, ask questions, pick up a few tips, or simply come for a chat. It's a lovely opportunity to meet other needle felters, share ideas and enjoy a bit of woolly companionship. No pressure to create anything – chatting and drinking coffee are perfectly acceptable activities too!
Book online so I know how many are coming 😊
🎄 Christmas is Coming... Ready or Not!
I know it's only November, but Christmas has a sneaky habit of appearing before we've quite finished thinking about it!
I've got some lovely workshops coming up to get us into the Christmas spirit, including:
Christmas Decorations – create your own woolly festive decorations, especially superb for more nervous beginners!
Christmas Gnomes – because surely every Christmas needs a little gnome magic!
Woolly Robins – a rather delightful little friend to make and take home.

And if Christmas isn't quite your thing (or you're simply not ready to let go of the rest of the year), I've also bought back a couple of favourites – my much-loved Woolly Sheep and Gumnuts workshops.
Whether you're making something for yourself, creating handmade gifts or simply looking for a few hours of creative fun, there's something lovely waiting for you.
🎁 A Little Gift of Creativity
And speaking of gifts... don't forget that Sheep to Shore Gift Vouchers are available on my website!
You can choose your own amount, write a message and send it on the date you choose, making them a lovely present for a friend, family member or even yourself. Coz, why should everyone else have all the fun? Also, they have no expiry date!
Vouchers can be put towards any workshop available for online booking including coffee mornings, and if there's something you'd particularly like to make that isn't currently on the calendar, just get in touch and we'll arrange a date.
Much nicer than another pair of socks, don't you think? 😉
So, whether you're joining me for a workshop, popping in for a coffee and a chat, or planning ahead for a little Christmas creativity, I look forward to seeing you.
Until then, keep warm, stay creative and remember... there's always room for a little more wool in your life!
With Warm woolly regards,
Audra 💙🐑💙
